So today was just one of those days. And why does it always seem like anytime you try to do something nice for someone it comes back to bite you in the end?? That was my day at work but anyway...
I feel like I have forgotten that I need to be running and preparing for the 10k coming up on the 22nd...Hello that is only in 10 days and I haven't ran any kind of distance over 3mi. I am going to suck and it is only my fault!! Why did I do this to myself, who knows. The only good thing is it will be my 1st 10k so that means......PR!! Any Whoo...enough of my ramblings and on the the giveaway!!! I know everyone is familiar with Bondi Bands. The great folks over there was kind enough to send me a couple to try out. Along with the two I was sent to try out I was also sent 2 yeah that's right TWO to giveaway!!

cool giveaway. my advice is to make someone run with you. i was starting to lose interest but my hubby just started running and asked me to go with him. we're also very competitive and so we create little challenges on the run and the winner has bragging rights until the next time. and if you running partner is faster than you, you get a speed work in too.

wicking ponytail hats would be the way to go. they just look hilarious.

Here's some mojo: You'll be in a race, which will help carry you through the extra miles. Start easy to save something up for the end. Enjoy!!

I've been eyeing a camo print bondi band!

Hi Bobbie,
Yes, I am a follower:)
Okay, motivation coming right now:) You did a 5k already and you did great. Go out there and just run it for fun. Do not put any pressure on yourself..just run on how you feel:) That is how I ran my first 10K last year and it turned out just fine. The weekend after my first 10 K I ran my first ten mile race! I did the same thing...just ran for fun and I totally surprised myself! You are going to do great! Just remember most of it is mental:) Stay positive!
I will link you in:)

just posted this on Sunday FunDay! Thanks for the reminder!
Your giveaway is posted on my blog: http://superfoodsuperfood.wordpress.com/giveaways/
I follow your blog.
I would probably order "Fresh" =)
Motivation:
Your race will be awesome. The race environment will be motivation enough on its own.
When you don't feel like running, just remember "You almost always regret not going for a run, and you almost never regret going."
Also, think about the people who CAN'T run, remember that we're lucky enough to have the ability, and push yourself to do what you GET to do.
I don't think you're on Daily Mile, right? By logging your miles on a social training site, you get tons of motivation because you see your friends stacking up the miles on ya!
Happy running, my friend.

I like the supermom band, but really they're all cute so it's hard to choose just one
Motivation to train....You don't want to have to post a really slow time on your blog next to your really good times.
If you were injured, you could put a little "sprained my ankle" next to a slow time, but "was a slacker and didn't train" won't look as cool.

I would pick the SUper MOm band in pink ink!
When you are struggling to finish a distance, just tell yourself to just keep putting one foot in front of the other. I know it sounds simple, but that is how I kept going this weekend on my first ever 12 mile run...after about mile 9 I really wanted to give up and just walk...but I kept telling myself to just keep going, keep putting one foot in front in of the other..and it kept me going and I finished! It felt great to accomplish what I had set out to do, even if it hurt and was a struggle.
If I was going to order a BondiBand right now i would order the braveheart headband.
I'm a follower!
If I ordered, I'd pick the Solid Black CoolMax Wicking :)
Sometimes when I need motivation while I'm running, I sing silly songs in my head like "In the Jungle" or "YMCA." They're normally fun to sing anyways, so having their rhythm in my head while I mouth the words makes for a better run. And people also look at you and smile because you're having so much fun, this can be inspiring too!
Cool giveaway! I'm a follower, although, I don't tweet. :)
I love the hot pink wicking pigtail hat!!!
I follow your blog now!!
I follow you on twitter as @cygirl88
My advice for motivation is to reward yourself for meeting a weekly milage goal :-). Also, it always helps me when I run with music because that really pumps me up!
I like the Beautiful Dreamer style!!
Started following you on Google Friend!
Following you on Twitter!
Just tweeted your giveaway @rustbeltrunner
Motivation: Just try to run. Once you get your gear on and hydrate and eat, etc. you will feel like it's a total waste not to run. And once you get going and if you feel like the run is going poor -- keep going. Give the run a second shot and you will find your motivation!
Visited the site..... on the bands I could go for almost any design. I really like the Moisture Wicking hat with the ponytail holder! How cool!
I like the Bondi Beach pattern if I could pick my own design.
I follow your blog now!
My advice for motivation is to run outside, and have a destination! (such as Sonic for a nice refreshing drink!)
I am a brand-new follower!
Too many cute bands to choose from! I like bikini bottom, vaca, and zebra!
I linked you on my sidebar!
Here's some good motivation: It's ice cream season (or at least around here it is!). Get those runs in and you can enjoy some yummy dessert from your local soft-serve place - it helps me! :)
what a fun package to receive!
FUN giveaway :) I've been wanting to try Bondi Bands, and Larabars are fantastic!
*I follow your blog
*I follow you on twitter :)
* I think I'd pick the solid pink or green.
* I know it can feel like you've lost your motivation. Don't stress, you'll be fine. Something to do is not put pressure on yourself... first get your shoes on, walk around the house, do chores, whatever, just try not to keep thinking "I HAVE to run, I HAVE to run". Just go about your normal tasks, then step outside, walk around a bit, see if you "feel" like going for a run. Every time I've done this, I've learned that taking the pressure away of HAVING to run, puts the fun back into it and you want to run. :) Good luck my friend!
* I tweeted your giveaway! :)

I follow on twitter - I am @jeninRL
I am also a new(ish) runner. I have had a bit of a set back - I have to wait for orthotics before I can run again.
The only advice I can offer is one I have not done very well myself - consistency!!
I follow you in twitter
Just do it - you'll never regret that you did but will regret that you didn't.
I like so many of bondibands esp the one called Dotty.
I'd love a hot pink bondi band! Lol! Or after I run a half the one that says 13.1 :)
Set out your runnings clothes and gear the night before and mentally prepare yourself for a run (milage, time, etc). Plus you need an excuse to run in those awesome Brooks shoes. I wear the same ones and LOVE them!!
