It's the Call of the Wild or maybe just calling
all wild ones! The Marion County Baseball Boosters have organized a new 5k race
featuring Lebanon's own celebrity The Turtleman! I'm really looking forward to
this one. Ernie "The Turtleman" Brown himself will be
at the Marion County Heritage Center signing autographs and taking pictures
starting at 10:00 am. There will also be a silent
auction, which will include autographed Turtleman memorabilia, and a pasta
dinner on Friday, February 28 at the Stillhouse Restaurant on Main Street in Lebanon.
If you are close to that area you can also pick up your race packets Friday
night at Stillhouse. All pre-registered participants get
a technical t-shirt. If you're there, look for ME I'd love to meet some
readers! The race itself will be held at 9:00
am Saturday March 1, starting and ending at the
Marion County Heritage Center. You can find more information and a registration
